1. Who we are
MOCA Tech Holdings Ltd (NZBN 9429053983183) trades as The Tech Guy and runs this website as Queenstown WiFi. We survey, plan and install home WiFi in Queenstown and Glenorchy. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean The Tech Guy. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
When you contact us or book a home survey, we collect:
- your name, email address, phone number and street address
- the message you send us, and our emails or calls with you
- details of quotes, surveys and installations we do for you
Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to stop spam. Google collects limited technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, under its own privacy policy and terms. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google when you visit.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange visits, prepare quotes, carry out and invoice work, meet legal obligations, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with people who help us run the business, such as our website host, our email provider, any form service that delivers your enquiry to us, and Google (for reCAPTCHA and fonts). We may also share it where the law requires. Some of these providers store information outside New Zealand.
5. Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email us and we will respond within 20 working days, as the Privacy Act 2020 requires.
7. Marketing messages
We will only send you marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and every message will let you unsubscribe. The consent box on our contact form covers replying to your enquiry only.
8. Complaints
If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
