Terms of Use

The ground rules for using our website and booking our services.

Last updated: October 2026

Draft. Have a New Zealand lawyer review this before relying on it.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use queenstownwifi.nz or ask us for a home survey, quote or installation. The website and services are provided by MOCA Tech Holdings Ltd (NZBN 9429053983183), trading as The Tech Guy, which runs this website as Queenstown WiFi.

2. Using this website

The information on this site is general and we work to keep it accurate. Please do not misuse the site, including by sending spam or using automated tools on our contact form. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

3. Surveys and quotes

After you contact us, we arrange a home survey and then give you a quote. If you approve the job and go ahead with our recommendations, there is no charge for the site visit. If you decline the job, the assessment is charged at our standard rates for time and travel. We are happy to talk you through pricing when we confirm your appointment, so there are no surprises. Each quote shows how long it stays valid and whether GST is included. Prices are in New Zealand dollars. Work starts once you have accepted the quote.

4. WiFi results

WiFi performance depends on your building, your devices and your internet service as well as the equipment we install. We plan each job carefully to improve coverage, but we cannot promise particular speeds.

5. Your responsibilities

Please give us accurate information, safe access to your property, and permission to fit equipment. If you rent your home, you are responsible for getting your landlord's consent where needed.

6. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other New Zealand law that cannot be excluded.

7. Our content

The text, design and images on this website belong to us or are used with permission. Please do not copy them without asking first.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts can hear any dispute about them.
